Experimenting.....

Good Monday evening to you  :o)

I am experimenting with dyeing my own linen.

Some strong coffee
a shot of vanilla
a handful of teabags
and a few cinnamon sticks..............

Looks kinda gross at first glance, I know.

Stay tuned!

I, too, can't wait to see the results! I bet it turns out great. If it turns out great, did you write down what you used so that you can duplicate it? :)

How interesting! When you write about it, I hope you'll talk about its smell. When I've coffee dyed fabric before, it had a very recognizable coffee smell and some people found it unpleasant. I'll be curious to know your results.

Now, let it age in a dark room and serve it with a bit of cheese. tee hee hee. Actually it will be a truly unique and amazing colour when finished. I can't wait to see what you have in mind for it.
Have fun being creative.
Cheers

Hmmm. Cinnamon sticks, never thought of that. I have some madder root and annatto seeds if you want some for the next go round. I bet it's going to turn out gorgeous.
