Decisions...decisions......

Hello there my dear stitchy friends!  I have missed you all so much.  Thank you all for the comments you have left for me.  I was going to try to read a few blogs and leave comments each night but I was just too tired after working 10 or more hours.  I also caught a doozie of a cold.  It had me in bed for a couple days but I'm on the backside of that and feeling much better now.

It's Friday and I really hope Masterchief has the weekend off.  My last day was last Saturday.  Well that's if you don't count yesterday when I went in to help just for one more day.  It's almost over at Georgia Tech.  I'll be so glad to finally go home after being gone since August.

I brought some stitching with me but haven't had time or felt good enough to get it out.
Here's what I brought with me.  Could you help me decide which one to work on next?

Peaceful Ways by La D Da

A Multiplication Table Examplar
With My Needle
I haven't stitched very much on that one but it's a start!

Land of The Free
Willow Hill Samplings

Saxon Sampler
from a 1989 JCS magazine

Here is a picture of the finished sampler.............

Well that's what I brought along with me.  Which do you think I should stitch on next?

I have been gathering little things from here and there to include in a Welcome Home giveaway.  I will be so happy to be home that I want to offer a giveaway to celebrate!  I'll  be sure to let you know when to throw your name in the hat.

Have a great weekend friends.
Thanks for stopping by and not forgetting little ol'me.

A Pain in the Neck!

No really....that's why I'm not working today.  I don't know what I did but it all started yesterday on my day off with a terrible headache that ended up in my neck.  It even hurts to swallow and talk!  Hopefully by tomorrow I'll be good enough to go to work.  After all, that's why I'm here in Georgia!

I cannot begin to tell you how I miss my stitching and blogging.  I just don't have the time to do it.  I miss visiting your blogs and leaving comments.  Masterchief thinks we will be here another couple of weeks.

I miss my house too!

We have taken a few pictures of what we are doing.  I'll share some with you here if you are interested.  This isn't what you normally would find on a cross stitching blog but hopefully you will forgive me. It's all I have to offer right now..............

Looking through the little round window
from behind the airlock door

Masterchief is ready to work.

Ground floor. What a mess!

I almost fell on my butt walking down here.
It's very slippery.

wall that are contaminated.

I'm counting air samples

I managed to prop my cell phone up and set the timer
for this one.  It was taken just this past Saturday.

After this job is over and hopefully before the next, I'll go to PA to visit my son and his family.  Liam's birthday is November 1st and Laymie is due to give birth to my grand daughter on the 10th. I'd like to be there for both if I can.

**fingers crossed**

I am so grateful to Laymie for sending me pictures and videos of Liam.  It helps it not hurt quite so much that I am so far away.

I love this picture.

Just look at those blue eyes!
Enough to melt a grandma's heart.

The nesting instinct has kicked in for Laymie.
Liam helps his mommy prepare the house
for little sister's arrival.

He even helps her with the laundry!
I could use a little help with my housework too.

I'll leave you with one final picture.

~*~*PLEASE MEET ABBY~*~*

Isn't she precious?
I can't wait to meet her and snuggle her close.

Thanks so much for visiting with me today.  I miss you all so much!  I am planning to have a "Welcome Home Giveaway" when I finally get back to Kentucky to hibernate for the Winter.  I think when I get home I will sit in the middle of the floor and surround myself with ALL of my stash!  I am looking forward to warm socks, over-sized sweatshirts, hot tea and of course...my STITCHING!

Until then,
Take care of yourself and stitch a little bit for me too!
