WIP Report

Ok so I've given in to it.  I read about it all the time on your blogs. I always thought, "I could never do that", but here I am.  I'm even blogging about it!

That's right friends...............hold on to your hats/bonnets.

I thought I'd never do it.  I always finished each pattern before starting the next.  Of course I have been working on something while doing the ABC Tapestry but I can't just pack that BAP in a bag and take it with me.

So here are my 3, yes THREE WIP's..........

The Child's Guardian

Eliza Evans 1831 A Quaker Sampler
The Marking Sampler
And of course the BAP......

ABC Tapestry-Rosewood Manor

As you can see I have most of the "I" block finished.  I hope to work on it more today.

During our last trip to Lexington to pick up Masterchief's new glasses we stopped at Hobby Lobby too.  Well I can't just pass by the place!

I'm sure you understand.

I picked up some spacers for my next framing project, whenever that will be.  I just want to be prepared.  I also bought the last bit of this lace they had....

I don't know just what I'll use it for but I knew when I saw it that it had to be added in my stash!

I'm sure you understand.

Speaking of stash, I want to start yet another piece (when the WIP bug bites he really digs in).  It's called "Land of the Free" by Willow Hill Sampling.

It says "Land of the free because of the brave" across the bottom.  I've always loved patriotic pieces and while this one isn't blaring a starry red, white and blue I really like the style and message.  I MUST stitch it!

I'm sure you understand.

I am so excited to have gained a few visitors recently!  I now have OVER 200 followers and want to offer a giveaway.  I'm still not exactly sure what I will offer.  I sorted through my stash and found a few things I know I won't stitch.  I'll most likely throw a few little extras in there as well.  If you would like a chance to win somewhat of a mystery giveaway just leave a comment on this post telling me you'd like to be entered.  You MUST mention in the comment that you want your name tossed in the hat or I will assume you're not interested.
I'll close the giveaway up on Thursday the 19th and announce the winner on Friday the 20th.

I wish I could give each of you a little something for your kind comments, emails and visits!  I appreciate all that is involved in stopping by and leaving a comment.  I know I'm not the only one out there and to know that this little'ol blog draws you in for just a minute is so very much appreciated.

Thanks to ALL of YOU!!
~~Peggy Lee

Oh! those pesky cinnamon buns are peeking out from the bottom of my screen (the ones from your last post!)They are screaming "Bake me! Then eat me!"
FYI: My comment moderation word: "uncold". Umm...would that be "warm"?

Oh dear friend, I do understand how you feel. The six I have going are almost more than I can stand as well. Some charts just pull at you more than others. I know that "I must stitch this right now" feeling. Yep, I do!

That's fun you are having a mystery giveaway. Throw me in the hat. I'll keep my fingers crossed. Tell Masterchief I don't mind the BBQ sauce if I'm the lucky one. LOL!

Ha! I used to be a one-at-a-time stitcher too---weren't we all?? Two years ago on my vacation I started 15 new projects! I have about 7 left to complete, but many more have been started in between, and not all finished. I ain't counting unfinished projects--only finished! I also love that lace--yummmm! I am sure you will find just the project to adorn! Willow Tree Samplings eh? Gotta love the words--so true! I would love to be the winner of your 200+ follower giveaway--count me in! Hugs!

Land of the free is absolutely wonderful, have not seen this one anywhere yet:)

I too am a one-at-a-time stitcher, but too many lovely charts have changed my ways this year. I only stop them when I have an exchange piece to work on and I usually stitch just on that till its finished.
Love to be entered in your mystery giveaway too please!

Hi Peggy Lee,
Welcome to the dark side. LOL! I used to be a "one at a timer" too. Now I have more WIPs than I want to count, but I also find that I enjoy stitching so much more. Congrats on your 200+ followers. I would love to have my name thrown in the hat for your drawing. I really like all of your WIPs. And that Home of the Brave piece is gorgeous! I have never seen that one before.

Congratulations on the 200+ followers, and I'd love a chance to be entered in your surprise giveaway.

Be always in stitches.

Shopping in Lexington is always a treat ... especially the Nicholasville Hobby Lobby : ) I too have always avoided stitching more than 1 project at a time but right now I need to do this in order to fulfill some exchange & SAL commitments. I hope the men in the white coats won't need to be called to take me away! Blessings, Shirlee

Well good grief...just disregard the part in my email inquiring about what you are you hear a big DUH?????

I love each of these and especially that Guardian chart...has really been screaming at me, but alas I will have way too many on the go, so will have to finish a few things first. Trying my best to keep some sanity, but it isn't easy!

I would be honored to be a part of your giveaway! Thanks for the opportunity!
