H is For........(edited)

....Hat, Horn, House, Harp, Holly, Heart and let's not forget, HOORAY!!

Yes, I'm doing a little Happy dance today.  I finished the "H" block in my BAP, ABC Tapestry by Rosewood Manor.  Now on to "I".

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I trust all of you rang in the New Year happily and safely.  Masterchief and I had all we could muster to stay up till midnight.  He usually goes out front with the 16 gauge shotgun to let the neighbors know the new year has begun.  That's one of the advantages of living in the country.
Now that Christmas is over I can set the house back to normal.  I've been itching to hang my newly framed pieces up on the wall when I realized that I don't have many finishes that aren't hanging.  I rummaged through my spare room to find a few easels and came up with this........
I Sew'd My Heart by Heartstring Samplery
My Ways and Praise God both by La D Da
I re-framed the sampler I stitched in honor of my grandmother.  This was a freebie offered on a blog but I am ashamed to admit I have no idea which one. Please, if you know won't you tell me?  I want to give credit where it is due.
The drawing below the sampler was done by my aunt (also a Peggy but she is Peggy June).  Aunt Peg is an artist and lives in New York.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The Christmas red tablecloth had to go too, so I made this one from fabric I found at Hobby Lobby on our last trip to Lexington.

Of course it's blue toile! I'm going through a toile fettish lately.  LOVE the stuff!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have reached 200 followers!  WOO-HOO!!!!  I will be announcing a giveaway very soon...as soon as I figure out what exactly it is I will be giving away.  Maybe I could make it a mystery.  What do you think?
I am truly grateful for each of you that has thought my ramblings here are worth hitting the follow button for.  Your visits and comments mean so much.  I THANK YOU.
Thanks for stopping by today friend.
Happy New Year to you!! We live on the west coast so DH and I always ring in the New Year at 9p.m and then I do it again at Midnight our time LOL DH never stays up till Midnight.
I could kick myself for ever deleting my blog last year, I went on a no stitching kick and was ready to sell everything and in the meantime decided to delete my blog :( I was up to 150 LOYAL followers, and now I have 16 and lost ALL my pictures of finishes and WIP I had that Blog for 5 years. SILLY ME!!
But I do remember that sampler, it was offered as a freebie on Blackbird Design Blog they held a contest and I just HAD to stitch it. Hoping to frame it SOON. Yous turned out great. Here is the link it was from April 2009
Hi there MoonBeam (Bobbi),
I wanted to reply to your question but your comments are set to "no-reply" and I'm assuming you don't have a blog.
I am using 32 count linen for ABC Tapestry so the finished stitched design will be 18 inches wide by 43 inches long.
It was nice of you to visit. Thanks for stopping by!
