Final Thoughts...

Here are some final thoughts at the end of my second day of being holed up in the hotel room here in Georgia......

  • I seriously need to stop ordering from 123 Stitch
  • I think I just ate 600 calories worth of PB Cheerios
  • Housekeeping will never satisfy me and I should just give up and accept it, knowing I am OCD about these things
  • I should take a break from stitching when my eyes burn so badly I can't count the threads any more
  • When the pool looks cloudy, I shouldn't swim in it
  • I probably shouldn't try to communicate with the help here at the hotel.  Who knows what I have said to them in my broken 9th grade Spanish!!
  • All the lotions in my bag won't help me in this dry Georgia climate
  • I will ALWAYS want MORE from 123 Stitch
I was up at 4:30 this morning when Masterchief got up for work.  I didn't go to bed until after midnight last night so I really need to get to bed soon.

Goodnight friends...
~~Miss Peggy Lee (well I am a bit farther south, ya know)

Those are some pretty wise final thoughts. I have to stay away from 123 stitch as well, it's way to easy when I am bored to fill up that cart and before you know it my credit card info has been entered before I can bat an eye. I hope you are enjoying your time in Georgia.

thank you ever so kindly for reminding me about my 123 cart. ;o)

also, try AmLactin body cream. I have tried EVERYTHING for my sensitive dry skin, and my pharmacist recommended it.

A hotel room will never be clean enough. But let me tell you, cleaning 14 rooms a day is backbreaking work and I know this because I did it working my way up in hotels. You won't even imagine the disgustingness people leave behind. And women and their hairspray were the bane of my existance. You need to attack the residue on the mirror with a straight razor blade! My rooms would be as spotless as could be and I'd sleep 12 hours straight every day.

Best advice: if you're driving, bring your own comforter and blanket. Seriously. And be kind to housekeeping.

I forgot to mention that I detest cleaning now.

I love 123stitch. I am on a stash diet and already faltering!

Too much time in a hotel room, blah.
It sounds like you are doing some great shopping.

LOL! One time we were on a weekend trip with the kids in the Poconos and they had roped off the deep end of the hotel pool because you couldn't see to the bottom. Talk about gross?

And if my keyboard had a button that took me directly to 123, it'd be worn out.

Ooohhh....123Stitch is dangerous! I have a looonnnggg wish list on there!

Maybe you should drive MasterChief into work tomorrow and then you can have the car and drive around a bit?

I find that Aveeno lotion works great!

Love 123stitch too - just made a small order yesterday.

You sound bored already - eating, ordering, and stitching too long.

Hope your days improve!

Oh Miss Peggy, you crack me up! Yes, 123 Stitch is a very tempting place to visit. They are just so dang sweet over there though you just can't help yourself. I do understand. Giggles!

I am in the same boat with you about 123! Sometimes I think, "Will they think I am a crazy person if I put in two orders in one week!?!"

LOL!!! You made me smile. I hope you can find another box of PB Cheerios to munch on while you resist 123 Stitch tomorrow! : )
