Sorry it took me so long today to post. I had to make a mad dash to the grocery store this morning to fight off the storm-scared people who make a mad dash.......oh wait...........well let's just say I have enough bread, milk and eggs to last us for three blizzards!
Polly helped me pick the winner for this giveaway.
DISCLAIMER ALERT: Masterchief might have helped a little *wink*
It was a bit difficult for Polly to get one of those folded up pieces of paper hooked just right on her finger...
but as she reached in to my grandmother's old darning basket, this is the name she picked out.................

Congratulations Sharlotte! If you would email me with your pony express address I would be happy to get your goodies out in the mail as soon as possible. It is to start doing something out there past midnight so I can't make any promises on the package starting it's journey tomorrow but I can guarantee you that it WILL be there BEFORE Christmas!
This giveaway has some stitchy treasures in it to be sure but I also added some "hodge-podge" things in there to help make it a nice treat to receive. I do hope Sharlotte likes her winnings but I also want her to remember that I sincerely believe in re-gifting. I think you will find this point well said in point #16 in THIS post.
Masterchief and I had a lovely time during our 5th wedding anniversary at the Dupont Mansion in Louisville, KY. I will post a few pictures and tell you a bit about it tomorrow. Right now I have a load of laundry and a bowl full of sweet potatoes calling my name. A woman's work is never done. Am I right, or am I right??
I think I will go bake something that requires lots of eggs!
Hey you know those blue-haired old ladies don't give up without a fight!!
