Hello Dear Friends....

Just a quick note to let you all know I'm still here.  Our typical day is us leaving the hotel around 5:15am and getting home around 7:30pm.  We have grabbed something quick to eat for dinner and I've made our lunches for tomorrow.  We are usually in bed by 8:30pm.  Our feet hurt and we are very tired already and we are only one week into the outage.

I was so excited when I saw that I had 100 followers over the weekend but I waited until I had 101 to start the happy dance.  Some of you might remember when I discovered I had become a follower of my own blog.

**good grief**

I must go.....need to be in bed in 15 minutes.  Three more days and then a day off!  YAY!!!

A very heartfelt THANK YOU to each of you for the encouraging comments.  I don't know why I'm so afraid of abandonment.  I think I know you better than that.  I will be back to my old stitching and blogging self when this job is finally over.

Remember......as soon as I get home I will be offering a giveaway to celebrate being home AND having 100 followers!

Hoping the remainder of your week is filled with many stitches........
~~Peggy Lee

I guess we all are afraid of abandonment in blogland. Sometimes people 'unfollow' or never comment and we are left feeling a little defeated. BUT...I'm still here and CONGRATS on all the followers!!!!

While not an "official" Follower, I do read your blog through Google reader whenever you post. I do about 99% of my blog reading from work, and the IT people, in their infinite wisdom, have gone from classifying the Followers feature as "inappropriate" to just showing a blank white square where it should be, both on other people's blogs and my own dashboard. Progress, I suppose, since I'm no longer getting threatening emails from corporate about viewing that "bad stuff" on work equipment. Funny thing is, even the job opening listings within the main company come up as "inappropriate content" at my level. So, logically, it seems State Farm jobs are right up (down?) there with Multiply, Webshots, Google images, YouTube, Facebook, and porn. Huh. Never would have guessed. At least "Followers" has advanced out of that category into the state of just being ignored as if it doesn't exist.
