I Found A Stitching Chair!

I covered it with towels because you just don't know about these things!!
I worked very little on Thank You For Serving last night.  We ran to Wegmans for a few things.  Wish we had one of those where I live.

Today we are going to the Philadelphia zoo.  Can you believe I am 42 years old and I've NEVER been to a zoo?!?

I will stay here with Masterchief until he finishes this job then we will go home together.  Just in time to pack up and come back to New Jersey for the nuclear outage for six weeks or so.

I would love to meet up with anyone from this area while I'm here!  Maybe we could meet at the Strawberry Sampler.  What do you think.....anyone interested?

Wegmans home base and family is here in Rochester, we have LOTS of them everywhere ~ people love their stores, including me. Hope you're having a great time!

Where are you again??? I'm behind on reading but this morning I decided to get caught up on everyone's blogs while the house is still quiet.
That chair looks like a good stitching one though. I have one similar in a bedroom upstairs and I should use it more often as the window is right beside it.

Glad you are having a nice time, enjoy the Zoo!

I have to laugh at the use of towels. I was stranded overnight at ORD airport in Chicago last month and they put me up in the Hilton. But I didbt bring any clothes in my little carryon, a mistake I will not do again. Anyway I did'nt want to sleep in my clothes and they were all out of robes so I wraped myself up in bath towels and slept. LOL I didnt want to sleep with my skin touching the sheets. I am sure they were clean but I have watched to many 60 minute shows. LOL

Have a great time :)

I sure wish I lived closer, 'cause I'd come and visit with you at the Strawberry Sampler! But I'm in the Pittsburgh area, on the other side of the state.

Another very cool place to visit is Longwood Gardens. They usually have several evening programs, too, so MC could go with you.

Ok, so I couldn't figure out why you covered your stitching chair. Were you worried you'd spill on it? Then I realized you are in a hotel room ~ duh! Everything in hotels gives me the creeps too.

Too bad I'm not closer--I'm on the other side of the state (over near Lee!). Hope you had a great time at the zoo :)

Are you familiar with Nan Lewis of Threadwork
Primitives? She lives in Philadelphia. Maybe
you can catch up with her. Here is her blog:

Also, go by the Philadelphia Museum of Art and
see their lovely collection of samplers!

Hope you enjoy your stay!
